StarPlus is all set to lauch a new show, Airlines – Har Udaan Ek Toofan which is produced by Miditech.

Production house “Miditech” already presented shows like Saara Aakash, Choona hai aasmaan now to launch a new show ‘Airlines’. It is heard that in the serial both main lead stars play the role of pilot.

VJ Yudhisthir aka Yudi selected to play male lead in the serial. VJ Yudi is the handsome Indian television anchor turned actor. He will play the  role of a pilot in the show. Main female lead of show is Tulip Joshi. She has done couple of Bollywood movies. Tulip is going to make her small screen debut with this show. Tulip Joshi made her Bollywood debut with Yash Raj Films’ Meri Yar ki Shadi Hai. Then she acted in a Telgu movie ‘Villian’ and ‘Dil Maange More.’

‘Airlines’ serial’s promo video hasn’t air yet. But soon it will be arriving on star plus channel. It is also heard that the show will be shot in Delhi.

Rumours suggests that Star Plus’ upcoming show ‘Airlines’ is based on the downfall of Kingfisher Airlines owned by India’s self-styled aviation tycoon Vijay Mallya . The show Airlines revolves around the glamour and danger associated with the aviation industry.

Kingfisher has been the most controversial and one of the most high profile airlines due to its owner Vijay Mallya.
Kingfisher was established in 2005, was a major business venture launched by Mallya.  It eventually became insolvent and had to be closed down. As of October 2013, it had not paid salaries to its employees for 15 months, had lost its license to operate as an airline.
