One of the most loved and laughter show Comedy Circus which had its long association with the leading GEC Sony TV, will see a drastic change in its concept.

The show will be aired on Life OK now and will see a format change.

The show has been shifted from Sony TV to Life OK. The show Comedy Circus has successfully aired it 16 seasons and is all to air its season 17. Archana Puran Singh has been associated with the show since its inception.

Comedy Circus has been re-christened as ‘Comedy Classes’ and will be produced by Optimystix Productions. The show will be aired on Life OK now and will see a format change. It is expected to go on-air from the month of September 2014. The promo shoot for the show will happen by August end.

Names like Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sudesh Lehiri, Siddharth Sagar will be part of this show titled ‘Comedy Classes’. The latest we have heard is that ‘Comedy Express’ and ‘Fu Bai Fu’ fame Vikas Samudre will join hands with the team. Not only that, the versatile actor will also pen down the script for the show.

Comedy Classes’ based on a popular international hit comedy, ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will have comedians playing various teachers. While one will be a dance teacher the other will play a singing teacher in the show. The show will not have gags but will have a format with a storyline.

There were some reports which suggest Comedy Circus, that the one of the longest running stand-up comedy shows was affecting because of the TRP-ranker, Comedy Nights With Kapil.

The show went off air from the past few months but now its back with its all new episodes to entertain its audience.

In the last series Shruti Seth hosted it, while Archana Puran Singh, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were the judges. But till now there is no information about the host and its judges.
