Comedy King Kapil Sharma is no more a part of YRF’s film Bank Chor. It looks that YRF‘s loss is Abbas Mustan’s gain, as reports suggest that Kapil has signed a film with renowned action filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan.
Sharma has been roped to play a lead role in Abbas Mustan’s next. Not much has been revealed about the project but it is reported that in the film Kapil would be seen romancing four heroines.
Kapil confirmed the reports and said, “I am doing Abbas Mustan’s movie where I will be romancing four heroines.”
Kapil was to make his Bollywood debut with YRF’s ‘Bank Chor’ but later
Riteish Deshmukh has replaced comedian Kapil Sharma in the upcoming comedy.
Kapil Sharma got popular for his show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, had a three-film contract with YRF and was slated to star in ‘Bank-Chor’, but the production house recently announced that he was no longer a part of the movie.
Popular show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ is bi-weekly program on Colors. Kapil Sharma who is also the producer of the show is planning to make the show weekly to concentrate on his film.
As per the reports of leading newsagency, Kapil said, “If I keep the show bi-weekly, I will not be able to do films. I will try to do the show once-a-week so that I can manage my dates with film shoots.”
Recently, the show completed its 100th episode. Kapil expressed her happiness and said,”It is a surreal feeling for me. My contract was for 24 episodes initially. When I was shooting these episodes then the channel people asked me to increase eight episodes more. When I got good rating in the first episode then they asked me to make it 50. After three back-to-back high ratings they asked me to make 100 episodes. Now they say make as much as you can.”
The show also marked the return of loved character Gutthi, played by Sunil Grover, after the actor left the show last year.
