Mohit Raina to play Lord Krishna in upcoming show

Popular face of small screen, Mohit Raina is essaying the role of Mahadev in Life OK‘s mythological show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. Devon Ke Dev Mahadev going off air soon. The channel is set to launch another mythological show.
The vacant slot of Devon Ke De… will be occupied with an upcoming show titled as Krishna. The show will be produced by Triangle Films Company owned by Nikhil Sinha. The makers of the show have finalized the lead for their show which will be played by Mohit again.

 

As per the reports of the leading newspaper, Mohit Raina will be seen as Krishna in the show. He will be seen as the narrator who will be narrating the story of Lord Krishna in the show donning Krishna’s avatar. He will be seen surrounded by ‘gopis’, playing a flute and more. Mohit is applauded and appreciated for his role of Mahadev.

 

‘Devon ke Dev…Mahadev’ is the story of Shiva, the most powerful God within the Hindu culture. The show portrays his journey from a hermit to a house holder. Sati who is the daughter of Daksh, a staunch Lord Vishnu devotee, is drawn to Shiva against the wishes of her father. The show revolves mesmerizing journey of Sati falling in love with Shiva, her point of view of the Mahadev…the most charismatic God of Hindu mythology.

 

Mohit was first spotted during the Grasim Mr. India modelling content in the year 2006. It was here that he moved to the position of the top five models.

 

Mohit Raina made his acting debut on the small screen with a serial Antariksh. After its success Mohit moved on and starred in a movie Don Muthu Swami. But his movie was a box office dud and it failed to take Mohit’s career anywhere.He later returned to small screen and began acting for television shows such as Chehra, Ganga Ki Dheej, Bandini.

 

In the year 2011, he tasted success and became a household name for his role as Lord Shiva in the serial Devon Ke Dev- Mahadev which is aired on the channel Life OK.
