Small screen actress Kratika Sengar tied the knot with Bollywood bad boy, Nikitin Dheer on Wednesday in Mumbai.
An arranged marriage, Kratika was chosen as his bahu by Nikitin’s father well-known actor Pankaj Dheer and the couple got engaged last year.
The actors hosted a glamorous sangeet on Tuesday night where all of Nikitin’s celeb-friends and co-participants on the TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi performed. Among those who performed at the sangeet were Gauahar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Debina Roy Choudhary, Gurmeet Choudhary, Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sindhu, Rajniesh Duggal, Pallavi Duggal, Salman Yusuff Khan and more.
Sharing his joy with his fans, Nikitin also posted a pic of the sangeet and a message saying, “A nite made special by friends n family-feel happy n blessed-tomm a new chapter-a new journey begins with fire as th witness-pure n strong!!” (sic)
On the D-Day the groom posted a pic wearing a sehra with friend Salman Yusuf Khan while on Thursday morning the actor posted a pic with his wife Kratika writing “It’s official!” Later, Kratika also changed her surname from Sengar to Kratika Dheer on Twitter.
Before the wedding, the love birds Kratika and Nikitin have been spotted many times together in public.Whether it was Nikitin’s birthday party or the locations of his debut TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, Oflate, Kratika was spotted a lot with Nikitin.
Kratika says, “It’s an arranged-cum-love marriage. I was shooting for Niketan’s father Pankaj Dheer’s directorial debut film ‘My father God Father’. Nikitin ‘s father then decided to approach my parents and that’s how Nikitin and I met. I bonded really well with Pankaj uncle and Nikitin and eventually started liking each other.”
When quizzed about the things that she likes the most in Nikitin, Kratika said, “Nikitin is a pure soul. The transparency is very visible in him. I always wanted a family like Nikitin ‘s family and I am blessed to have him in my life. I am too excited. Punar Vivah ke baad ab sach mein mera pehla vivah hoga.. (laughs).”
