Karan says it Poppy’s droopy eyes that left him weak in the knees. “I love her eyes. We are both Cancerians and she understands me well. She has a positive outlook towards life and loves to travel. Like me, she also believes that life is to be lived completely in the moment,” he says.

But why did he keep the relationship a closely guarded secret? “We are extremely private people and didn’t want to inform the media about our relationship,” he replies. So, is marriage on the cards? “Not in the immediate future. We are occupied with our work as of now. Our families are aware of our relationship, but there is no pressure from their end either,” he asserts.

His first stinct on television was as a VJ for zee music. He realised that not only he wanted to be an actor but also loved being a VJ/Anchor, after hosting various shows for zee music, interviewing some of the biggest names in the film industry as revealed from the sources. He started auditioning and landed up with his first break on “Star plus” on a show called “SAARTHI”. Saarthi was followed by other shows like Woh Rehne Wali Mehlin Ki, Teri Meri Love Stories and Nach Baliye season, currently seen in Hum Aapke Hai In Laws.
