Singer turned actress Sophie Choudry, who recently garnered a lot of attention for her elimination from dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7, is not very keen on doing controversial reality show Bigg Boss.
“I’ve been asked to do the show in the past as well but I’ve said no. I like shows where you can display your talent, not mental games. I’m far too emotional a person to be part of something so ridden with controversy,” said Sophie.
Though Sophie doesn’t look interested in doing Bigg Boss but she would love to do something exciting on the small screen. “I started my career in India as a VJ so I’m fond of television. I would love to host an interesting show or a big talent show. Otherwise I would want to be part of something classy like 24! Eventually I would love to be in a position to judge a show,” concludes the actress.
Sophie Choudry was shocked and hurt when she was unexpectedly eliminated from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa but it is now clear that she isn’t the only one!
There has been huge outrage on Twitter and social media about her unfair ousting from the show! Even the #bringbacksophie was see trending on the micro networking website.
While many of Sophie’s fans claimed to have cried, most of them have been talking about the biased attitude of the judges and the channel!

Sanjay Gupta tweeted that “Jhalak lost it’s soul” with Sophie’s elimination but the most outright tweet came from former Jhalak contestant Shaan. He tweeted, ‘We want Sophie to know that she is the winner for us all. She won our heart through her performances and sheer dedication and we can’t wait to see what she does next!”
