The release date of the thriller on guns and romance, Kill Dil directed by Shaad Ali has been up for 14th November. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra. Kill Dil is also a comeback film for Govinda who is called by the nickname No. 1 in the industry. This would be his return to the silver screen quite after a long interval. This time he would be seen in a different avatar all together. The film depicts the story of two abandaoned young, two killers Dev (Ranveer Singh) and Tutu (Ali Zafar) who roams free. The vulnerable and abandoned youths are sheltered by Bhaiyaji who nurtures them to be killers gradually. Everything goes well for them until the free-spirited Disha (Parineeti Chopra) enters their lives. What follows is a game of defiance, deception and love, said a source. Shaad Ali described the movie as "a film about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim of love.” The movie name Kill Dill was inspired from the Hollywood movie Kill Bill. With Gulzar’s lyrics and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy music the movie already stands out for the songs. The title song of the film sung by Sonu Nigam and Shankar Mahadevan was released on 25th September 2014. Another single Sweeta sung by Adnan Sami was released on 2nd October 2014. Kill Dil is Ali's fourth movie, "Saathiya" and "Bunty Aur Babli" were big hits, but his last film "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom", failed to replicate the success story. It is assumed that he will knock out the box office with his new release.
