Actress Nigaar Z. Khan, who last appeared on TV in the fiction show “Main Naa Bhoolungi”, is set to join “Bigg Boss 8” as the fourth wildcard entry. She is ready to face the challenge of controlling her tongue.
The 35-year-old star, whose younger sister Gauahar won the last season of the show, has said that after “Main Na Bhoolungi”, she wanted to take a long gap from the telly world. But her sister advised her to take up “Bigg Boss”.
“When I got this offer, I was not keen to do it because I wanted to continue my holiday abroad, but then Gauahar convinced me to do it. She told me that it was the right time for me to do this,” Nigaar told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
Nigaar will be the new wildcard contestant to enter the show after latest entrants Dimpy Mahajan and Renee Dhyani.
She knows she’s going to be compared with Gauahar.
“But to deal with it, she has given me a lot of tips. She has told me to be calm and be the person that I am,” Nigaar said.
Every season, “Bigg Boss”, where celebrities are put together under one roof without any connect with the outside world, is marked by the politics and groupism between contestants. They do this to make themselves safe from being evicted from the show.
Asked how she’ll cope up with the poltics in the house, Nigaar said: “I know that there is a lot of groupism and negativity happening in the show. That’s the scary part of the show. I will try if I can, to break the two groups in the house, and make them play the game together as a family.
