Actor Benedict Cumberbatch is “really excited” to play Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” in an eponymous movie.
The 38-year-old, who was officially announced as the actor for the character, talked about his excitement on the red carpet at the 2014 British Independent Film Awards, where he was present in support of “The Imitation Game” Sunday, reports contactmusic.com.
“Really excited, you know. There’s a lot of work to be done and I’m just at the beginning so I don’t want to talk much about it, but it’s a thrilling gig to get,” Cumberbatch told reporters when asked about his feelings on the new gig.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, “Doctor Strange” will hit the theaters Nov 4, 2016.
