Life Ok Now Awards (LONA) is an award show which honour and gives awards to actors and artists based on their recent successes while celebrating excellence in the field of films, music and television. Thus instead of annual awards, it is monthly basis and awards like Song of the Month, Movie of the month, etc.
After the success of the previous two editions, the BIG Life OK Now Awards is back with its 3rd Edition. With Independence as the central theme, the evening saw spectacular performances by some of the biggest names in Bollywood and television. The anchors for the evening Gutthi a.k.a Sunil Grover and Varun Sharma, make everyone laugh with their comic timing.
The audience witnessed some power packed performances that not only kept them entertained, but also brought out the spirit of patriotism. Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan set the stage on fire with her multi-faceted performance and showed the audience why she is ‘the heroine’ in every sense of the word.
Handsome and star of gen-next Sushant Singh Rajput through his act paid tribute to all those people who are willing to lay down their lives for our motherland. The gorgeous Esha Gupta showcased the various moods of a woman, and Shraddha Arya‘s act highlighted the issue of women’s safety and reminded men to stand up for women’s rights. The aerial act by Prateek and Sneha meaningfully depicted the concept of the colours that are part of the tri-colour.
