Dil Hai Chotasa Chotisi Aasha is a game show with a difference. Hosted by Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni, it has only women contestants.
These contestants can earn money to start a venture on their own, by giving the right answers to questions posed to them. “I liked the concept of the show as it empowers women, who’ve struggled in their lives,” says Soni. Ragini adds, “Anchoring a quiz-based show is challenging as the responsibility of entertaining the viewers rests on the anchors.”
Simply Baatein With Raveena aims to spread awareness on varied subjects that affect women at large. The second episode will have the actress addressing hair care problems. The show will have actress Shriya Saran participate in a chat with Raveena. The show also features other experts, who will throw more light on the subject.

Ragini Khanna, last seen anchoring comedy show Gangs of Husseepur, will again don the hostess’s hat, but this time around, for a quiz-based show.
The actress and her co-host Tanishaa were removed from the show because the makers were not satisfied with its ratings. Ragini says, “The channel has every right to improve the ratings and if they made some changes to achieve that, I accept it. It was a learning experience and I have no regrets.”
The actress, however, admits that there is a herd mentality on television shows. She says, “If a show works, everyone wants to follow a similar format. Today, audiences want entertainment and so, comedians have become anchors.” Now that Ragini is anchoring a show again, is she stressed about the ratings? “The responsibility of anchoring a quiz-based show is more, it is a scary experience. In music and dance reality shows, the contestants and anchors are equally responsible for upping the entertainment quotient, but here, everything is dependent on the host alone,” she says.
