Salman Khan talks about Shah Rukh Khan and Happy New Year on Big Boss
At the launch of the 8th season of Big Boss, Salman Khan had displayed keenness and told fans he would promote Happy New Year on Big Boss. The Kick star wanted Shah Rukh Khan, along with his complete ensemble team on Happy New Year to appear on his show so they may publicize their upcoming movie. However, poor Salman Khan had to publicize Happy New Year without its cast.
This was because of SRK’s tight schedule, and time constraints; or perhaps the sizzling rivalry between the Khans, and Shah Rukh did not show up on the sets of Big Boss as Salman had planned. Improvising, Salman Khan decided to go ahead and promote the movie anyway; since a promise is a promise.
This week, in the episode of Shanivaar ka Vaar with Salman, Salman promoted Shah Rukh’s upcoming film without any of the cast of the movie present.
Performing a small gig, the Dabang star publicly took a quiz called ‘Which Khan are You?’ After going through the quiz that typically appears on social networking sites; the superstar Salman Khan surprised fans with the result, it was Shah Rukh Khan.
What’s more, Salman attempted to match the Badshah’s typical style of speech and also actions. Salman then concluded the episode saying something on the lines of ‘hadn’t he told his audience he would promote Happy New Year?’ in hindi.
It would have been great to watch Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together on the sets of Big Boss, but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. We love how Salman was a good sport and improvised: whether it was to save face or deliver his promise in ek baar commitment kar de, toh phir mein khud ke bhi nahi sunta kind of way, though, we will never know.
