Mumbai, Oct 28 (IANS) It’s India calling for Christopher Nolan! The Hollywood director who awaits release of his forthcoming movie “Interstellar”, will reportedly be in Mumbai Dec 28 to attend Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay’s annual festival Mood Indigo.
The 44-year-old’s visit to Mumbai was announced via a post on the official Facebook page of Mood Indigo, the college cultural festival, which is slated to be held Dec 26-29.
“‘It’s not a mountain, it’s a wave’. The first event of Mood Indigo, IIT-Bombay’s Illuminati 2014 is out – Christopher Nolan,” read a post along with a poster on the page.
IANS confirmed the news with the organisers. However, it is not yet clear as to what Nolan plans to do at the fest.
Nolan, highly acclaimed worldwide for “The Dark Knight” trilogy, is also credited with popular movies including “Memento”, “The Prestige” and “Inception”. The news of his visit seems to have created waves on social media.
The institute is also running a special contest.
“Presenting the #NolanInIndia contest. Answer questions about Nolan’s best movies and get a chance to attend the event at #MI2k14,” read a tweet from @iitb_moodi, the official Twitter handle of the event.
Mood Indigo started in 1971, and it will celebrate its 44th edition this year.
