Abhiskshek Bachachan groomed to show his funny side again in The Shaukeens after being the sweet heart of everyone in his latest movie Happy New Year.
He is all set to do the role of a cameo in the forthcoming movie directed by Abhishek Sharma. Reports say that when the film makers approached Abhishek Bachchan for the role he was packed up with promotions of Happy New Year but still he managed to find time out of his tight schedule as he liked the idea so much.
“I had always heard that Abhishek has a great sense of humour. But this time, I saw it for myself. I have become a huge Abhishek fan after this experience,”said Abhishek Sharma quoted by an online portal.
The movie narrates the story of three friends in their 60s try to do everything that they couldn’t do in their younger days, before death arrives.
The project is a remake of the 1982 film Shaukeen directed by Basu Chatterjee which starred Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, A. K. Hangal, Rati Agnihotri and Mithun Chakraborty.
The Shaukeens is set to be released on November 7 and stars Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon, Akshay Kumar and Rati Agnihotri. A part of the movie is shot in Mauritius.
