Kapil Sharma has reportedly refused to promote Bollywood erotic thriller ‘Hate Story 2’ on his show-’Comedy Nights with Kapil’. And the reason is that he thinks the movie has lot of sexual content.
Since the lead pair of the movie are the TV actors( Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali), the filmmakers wanted to promote the movie on the show Comedy Nights With Kapil. However, the filmmakers were shocked when their request was turned down by Kapil as he felt the subject of the film was bold and not meant for family audience.
This is not the first time that Kapil has refused to promote movies with sexual content on his show. Last year, he refused to promote Jackpot because of Sunny Leone’s background as an adult film star. This decision drew lot of ire from the film fraternity as mainstream actors like Shah Rukh Khan had shown his willingness to work with Sunny. However, Kapil changed his mind and allowed producer Ekta Kapoor and Sunny to promote Ragini MMS 2 on his show later.
