Gerber and his wife, Cindy Crawford spent three days in Italy celebrating Clooney and Alamuddin’s wedding and at the end of it, they knew they are perfect for each other.
“I’ve been friends with George probably half my life, and it’s just great that he found someone,” Gerber told people.com.
Gerber, 52, and Crawford, 48, looked like a couple of newlyweds themselves as they stole kisses on their way into the show.
Gerber also explained why he thinks Alamuddin is so great for Clooney.
“She’s really perfect for him. She’s smart and she’s beautiful, engaging. She is, again … smart, but she doesn’t make you feel stupid! She’s a great girl, and together I think they can do some incredible things,” he said.
As for Gerber and Crawford, they’ve been married since 1998 and have two children together, Presley, 15 and Kaia, 13.
