The movie revolves around a chess master who is wheel chair stricken with a bad health and on a tough Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer. Big B plays the role of the chess master and Farhan Aktar portrays the role of ATS Officer. The film is stated to be an intense drama as much of its plot is yet to be revealed.

The picture that has been posted by Big B showcases both actors involved in playing chess by sipping coffee. The image is quite a promising one, bestowing high hopes on the movie.

Currently the team of ‘Do’ is shooting in Hauz Khaz, New Delhi with a ten days schedule in the city. The shoot will extend to portions of India Gate and Jama Masjid as well.

The movie is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Bachchan had earlier worked in Chopra’s 2007 drama Eklavya: The Royal Guard, which was Chopra’s come back film as director after seven years. The movie is directed by Bejoy Nambiar who had earlier directed Shaitan and David. The movie also stars Aditi Rao Hydari in lead role. Farhan and Aditi will be first time starring together in the film.

“Although Farhan has directed Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011) — which saw actors play police officers — he has never essayed the role of a cop himself. And he is very excited to take the first step in a new direction. It will surely be challenging for him,” said a source close to Akhtar to a leading daily.

After Bhag Milka Bhag this is the first time Farhan Aktar will be seen in doing the role of a cop who seemingly enjoys challenging roles. Akhtar will also be playing as a cop in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie “Raees”.
